For young professionals, volunteering isn’t just about giving back

-it’s a powerful way to build a strong CV and showcase real-world skills that set you apart early in your career.

 

This interactive workshop will guide you through practical steps to translate your volunteer roles into language that resonates with employers, recruiters, and managers.

You will practice reframing your volunteer projects into CV bullet points, development plan examples, and interview stories that highlight leadership, project management, and impact.

In the second part, we shift focus outward: how to confidently approach businesses, not only as a job seeker but also as a JCI member seeking strategic partnerships.

You will explore what companies value, practice short business pitches, and receive peer feedback to sharpen your approach.

Through hands-on exercises, reflection, and structured peer exchange, participants will leave with concrete skills, tested tools, and clear personal action points — strengthening both their professional careers and JCI’s external relations.

 

A light meal will be served so please mention any dietary restrictions when signing up.
